About me.
Hi there! I'm Natalie, a psychologist driven by an innate curiosity about the human mind. I love learning and find the complexities of the human psyche fascinating.
In my practice, I take a holistic approach to therapy. I consider the psychological, neurological, physiological, existential, and cultural aspects, tailoring my services to each individual. I believe in the incredible potential within each person, but I also recognize our capacity for self-sabotage and self-criticism. "This too shall pass" is a saying I live by, acknowledging the temporary nature of everything. What excites me about counselling is combining logical understanding with experiential techniques. I help unravel patterns logically while providing tangible experiences that foster self-acceptance and positive change. My goal is to guide individuals toward self-discovery and growth. I look forward to joining you on this journey. |
Practicing what I preach, I actively pursue personal and professional growth because I believe in the importance of learning, and think self-awareness is key for meaningful connections. This philosophy not only guides our sessions but is a principle I live by.
Integrity and hope are the values that drive my approach to counselling. They shape my commitment to providing not just a service, but an ethical and professional experience.
I have personally navigated the intricate landscapes of neurodivergence, queer relationships, non-binary experiences, and a religious upbringing, which I believe also brings a unique perspective that comes with having lived experience in these realms.
Beyond work, I savour moments with loved ones, explore Perth's scenic nature, and dive into a myriad of activities. I'm a sucker for good music, movies, books and animals. I have a rescue tabby cat - Baxter - who is currently a teenager and very entertaining. I also enjoy and regularly play board games and am part of a long-term homebrew D&D campaign with a few friends. My values and commitment to equality and sustainability isn't just professional—it's personal, reflecting my belief in a better, more compassionate world.
